【DESCRIPTION】
This is a vintage map of castle town.You can see the character "Sobayonin"(chamberlain) in this vintage map.So it was presumably made and used in Edo Period.
The map introduces a lot of houses with the name,appointment and Kokudaka. Kokudaka (石高, kokudaka) refers to a system for determining land value for tribute purposes in Edo period Japan and expressing this value in koku of rice.
Judging from the content,I think it was a map of Jyokamachi(castle Town)
