This seems to be a cashbook to bring during a trip, taking note how much and for what money was spent during their trip. Inside you can see the date, how much and its purpose, though it is hard to read because of its old style writing. On the backcover we can see the name of the owner of this item and his address(Yamagata prefecture). People over 100 years ago used this book and carry around with them.
Very tasteful item, you will enjoy this item as if you are a traveler at the time!
Most of them have calligraphic writing by ink brush on beautiful washi (Japanese paper).
