About Shizuka Kusano....
She had her first personal exhibition in 1979. She started making embroidery not only for kimono but for interior accesaries. In 1996, her embroidery was introduced in the popular TV program. Then in 2000, she had an exhibition 'Sakura Roman' (Cherryblossm romance) which became this book.
This book, as in title, contains many photos of Sakura (cherryblossm) designed kimono embroidery. This also contains many of animals and other kind of flowers.
Even if you don't understand Japanese, you will enjoy this book through many photos.
