'Creation is a continuous process: each time I make something, what I want to create next also takes shape. And I am always surprised, even today, to be making, creating something. Whenever I work on a piece, I experience an eerie wonder, for it differs slightly from my intention. Indeed, I feel a process of gradual crumbling of the self that would try to dictate the outcome.
After the self crumbles away, a totally unexpected space hopes up within its walls. When I venture into that space, I feel that I am penetrating the maze that lies between the human being and the object. But beyond the form of the object imbued with so many meanings, something else is visible:human sensations and feelings. And that is where I too am to be found'...
