This book contains many fabulous works of Yuki Tsumugi. Yuki Tsumugi, registered as Important Intangible Cultural Heritage is silk fabrics made mainly in Tochigi and Ibaraki prefecture. This was exhibited in World Exposition in Vienna in 1873 which made its name famous in the world. All works of Yuki Tsumugi in this book are printed in color. B&W photos (approx 12 pages) show Yuki Tsumugi artists making Tsumugi.
Photos are not only showing Yuki Tsumugi kimono, but also beautiful scenery of Japan. Last approx 20 pages are talking about 'Japanning in New York', containing fabulous Yuki Tsumugi works of Reiko Yamazaki who has her own brand 'Reiko'.
