This item was published as a brochure of the exhibition '4th Needle work Japan'. This contains 79 wonderful needle works from the exhibition. All photos are printed in color.
This exhibition was held in 1990 with total 200 needle works. 80 out of 200 was made under the subject 'Edo Tokyo 40 years' because that had been 400 years since Edo castle was built. It is very interesting that each needle work design shows traditional Japanese scenes from Edo, modern scenes of Tokyo and even mixture of both.
There is a piece of leaflet of this exhibition.
This item can be good reference for embroidery.
