This is a reprinted edition.Original one was published in Edo period (presumably in 1700,opinion is divided)by Kanzan Matsumiya,who was a leading expert on Japanese Guard in those days.Also,it was called Toban Zufu.It is a popular and famous one.It has been read by a great many guards enthusiasts here in Japan.It is said that most enthusiasts have manscript book.Original copy is overseas(Sweden-Stockholm).It would be a great guidebook to Japanese guard.
