This is an extremely rare photo collection by Masaya Nakamura.It was published in 1978 .
In the period of from around 1956 to 1960,the words glamour photography and photographsof corpulent semi-nudes made with the the intent of glomour were the fashion in Japan. And it would be no exaggeration to say that Masaya Nakamura,the autor of this book,was the founder of the word. masaya nakamura was one of the few sucessful japanese photographers of women at present but he started as photographer for a large newspaper company. This is an unusual background for a photographer of women but it is a fact that the experience he gained during this period as a news photographer greatly influenced his later works.
